Isolation and Despair
Do you see me standing here?
Shaking in silent sorrow and trembling in woundless pain?
Do you even care?
That your words and actions fill me with agony and dread?
Did you know how much you mattered to me?
Your love and friendship like the light guiding boats to shore, now i am encased in inky darkness
…..Constantly i seek warmth from the cold loneliness that weighs down upon me
Vigilantly scanning the horizon for any signs of respite from this storm
Clouds of Melancholy bring downpours of heartache and misery, obfuscating the rays of love and joy above them.
The rain soaking me to my soul...making me cold, weary, and drained of happiness.
My heart a weeping orifice, poisoned by empty smiles and words devoid of meaning
My body pulsates with anguish, I weep uncontrollably at my forlorn existence.
Nothing changes as the years go on...the hurt remains...i can never find an end to my torment.
