Submission Guidelines

The Psychology Of Us is now accepting submissions of personal stories for “The Anthropology Of Us”, which is a reader submission platform to share personal experiences and art which is inspired by mental health and mental illness.  

All stories, poetry, or art (painting, photographs, etc.) should be about Mental Health/Mental Illness. Below are some guidelines to follow when submitting a piece:

1. Please limit submissions to no more than 3000 words.
2. A great way to write a submission is as a journal entry.
3. You will be given full credit so please include: Your Name and Your Diagnosis
4. While some delicate topics will be allowed and posts will include trigger warning, please avoid detailed accounts of abuse or descriptive posts of self harm/suicide.
5. Your submission may be edited for length, clarity, and grammatical errors.
6. Some submissions may be turned down and should be submitted elsewhere.
