Baneful Wishes/Lofty Hopes

I wish to be mute

So my words do not cause harm

I wish to be calm

So that I may be still

I wish to lack imagination

So that my dreams dont bother me in the day

I wish to be invisible

So that my demeanor doesn't cause strife

I wish to be more apathetic

So that my emotions aren't raw

I hope those that I consider loved ones

Continue to do so, despite my faults

I hope those that see me

Have their hearts filled with the same joy that mine is when I see them

I hope my presence

Brings love and happiness

For all I want out of this world is the ones I love to be happy

Regardless of if i'm there to share in it.

My sorrow, my pain, my hurt...means nothing

So long as I see smiles and hear laughter
